My name is Christian Gonzalez and I am a Central Florida-based makeup artist with a passion for enhancing natural beauty.
My career in the beauty industry started in 2017, but my love for makeup started way before then. As a young boy, I witnessed how transformative makeup could be for the women in my life; I saw the confidence it brought them. Almost like makeup was the armor they wore into the world. Since then, I’ve made it my mission to bring that same sense of confidence to every face I touch.
I got my start in cosmetic retail at Sephora where I was trained as a Licensed Beauty Advisor. Since then I have become a Licensed Aesthetician, started my own business, and began servicing clients all over Florida. I pride myself on advanced makeup artistry and giving each client a personalized experience.

“My journey has not been easy, not only in a business aspect but in self-discovery. Growing up a queer child, I always felt like the black sheep. I knew I loved makeup from a young age, but growing up, I never felt like this career was something I would be able to embrace.
My journey is one of self-discovery, acceptance, and perseverance. It took many years of internal conflict, unlearning societal pressures, and learning to embrace myself….”

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
“The most meaningful and rewarding part of being an artist is being able to provide my clients with a feeling of heightened glamour. Makeup is something that can be seen as vapid and surface-level, but understanding the power and weight it holds is something that was life-changing for me….”
